In the UK, Silver Birch stands as the quintessential choice for those seeking traditional hardwood timber and a preferred solid fuel.
Birch wood is renowned for its easy ignition, and it’s one of the select few woods that can be burned unseasoned, making it exceptionally convenient. It’s worth noting that Birch burns relatively quickly, making it a perfect complement to slower-burning woods like Oak or Elm. Plus, the bark of the Birch tree doubles as an exceptional fire-lighter, making the ignition process effortless.
With Birch as your fuel source, you’ll experience a slow, controlled burn, delivering excellent heat output while emitting minimal smoke. It’s a top choice for those who appreciate both efficiency and aesthetics, making it a staple in many British households.
Our birch logs are certified under Woodsure ‘Ready to Burn’ scheme. This certification guarantees the highest quality standards, the humidity in the firewood is below 20%, ensuring you receive only the best in fuel excellence.
